Welcome to the unofficial Steven Stamkos website! Stamkos is one of the best goal scoring hockey player in the NHL at the moment. He’s a Canadian native, from Ontario, and currently plays for the Tampa Bay Lightning.
Steven Stamkos was selected by the Tampa Bay lightning as the 1st pick overall in the 2008 NHL draft. Stamkos played his first NHL game for Tampa in the 2008-2009 season. After tallying 46 points in his rookie season, Stamkos finished his second pro season with 95 points, taking 5th place in the NHL scoring leaders’ race. Stamkos’ 51 goal put him in a tie with Sidney Crosby for first place, making Stamkos the co-winner of the Maurice Richard trophy for the 2009-2010 NHL season.
